Waihui
395 Sandersons Road, Rotherham
A play on colour and form
Hosts: Meg & Tom Macfarlane
Address: 395 Sandersons Road, Rotherham
Welcome to Waihui gardens – a garden established over the last 30 years purely with entertainment in mind! Come and see what a young novice gardener and her reluctant husband have been able to establish from the bones of an original site established In 1962, to give them the entertaining spaces they so badly wanted when funds were tight.
Fast forward to 2023 and we now have a series of garden rooms – each suitable for different wind conditions and to provide entertaining spaces for friends and families for the many parties, weddings and other functions we have hosted. Learn the trials and tribulations of dealing with wind, livestock, rain, floods and snow.
Truly worth the short trip from Rotherham and well sign posted – we look forward to meeting you in our garden on the peninsula – surrounded by the Waiau river – a very scenic drive.
