Guest Speakers

Kim Odering

For six years Kim Odering was the face of the popular Oderings Homes & Gardens TV show that screened for six years on the original CTV.

In the past year she’s returned
 to the garden industry, turning
over a new leaf as a garden
designer. In partnership with
her husband Zhenya Evgenov, the couple has launched landscaping company KO&CO.

Although Kim left the Oderings business dynasty 16 years ago, she has always had her feet on the ground and hands in the soil. “When you’re born into a plant-growing family that now spans five generations, it definitely becomes part of your DNA,” she says.

Armed with a lifetime of plant knowledge, wholesale growing, garden centre retail, hands on gardening experience, and helping thousands of people through her TV presenting to choose their plants and DIY garden, Kim is back in earnest to again share her extensive plant and landscaping know-how with you.

Dan Rutherford

Well known throughout NZ for his creative garden designs and passion for landscaping Dan will talk about how good garden design is not just about creating and transforming outdoor living spaces but the lives of people who inhabit them – no matter the scale or the budget.
