Welcome to our July Newsletter from the Hurunui Garden Festival team.
It certainly is now officially “Winter” as I am sure you will all know but it is not the time to hang up your gumboots or store away your garden tools. There are still jobs to be done and much to be enjoyed. It is also the time now to be checking out our website hurunuigardenfestival.com. Our 2022 guide will be fully updated in a couple of days ready for you to download. Printed guides will be available in the next few weeks but now is the time to buy your early bird tickets to the Garden Festival and also the opportunity to get tickets to hear New Zealand’s celebrity gardening guru, the wonderful Lynda Hallinan. Tickets are limited to hear Lynda so certainly get in quickly before they all sell out.
Early bird tickets are only available from 1 July – 31st August (buy 10 get 1 free). Purchase tickets online via our website or you can buy a ticket on the festival opening days at each individual property.
Gate Entry Tickets
It costs adults $10 to visit each property, payable on the day as you enter. School children, accompanied by an adult, may enter for free. Please have cash with you as individual gardens cannot process electronic payments. Some properties are hosting “events” during the Festival which have separate charges but these are found on the property's individual page in the guide.
